Palmiero-Toyota Give Back Program
The historical society is once again participating in Palmiero-Toyota's annual Give Back Program.
Here's how it works: The dealer, located across from Wal-Mart on Route 322, has an area set aside for the program. It is the service center closest to Conneaut Lake.
The center has boxes with the different participating organizations names on them.
There is a ticket dispenser in the room.
People may go to the site every day, take one ticket and put it in the respective organization box (ours preferably).
You then just leave -- no sales calls, business cards or anything.
You can do this ONCE a DAY each day through Nov. 30 (except Sundays and Thanksgiving).
Only one vote per person per day please.
You need not be a member of the society to vote.
At the end of the month, the organization with the most votes receives $5,000 plus a matching $5,000 from the corporation.
However, organizations who don't get the most also are awarded money -- based on the number of votes.
AND, here's a special incentive.
On Nov.14,each person who takes a non-perishable food item to the site that day will receive one "golden ticket."
At the end of the day, the organization with the most golden tickets will received an additional $500.
The food items will be donated to the Soup Kitchen, which fees people every week day free of charge.
On Nov.21,the same procedure applies -- except this time participants are to take unwrapped new toys.
Toys collected will be given to the Toys for Tots.
In return, the organization with the most tickets will receive $500.
Help us out and help out these two wonderful organizations as well!
Please spread the word!
